The development of Pure Titanium occurred through the junction of ECAP processes ("Equal Channel Angular Pressing") and cold extrusion.
In addition to Pure Titanium, the clinical success of the use of Titanium is also due to the use of its derived alloys (especially Ti-6Al 4V alloy), largely to its extraordinary mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and superior biocompatibility. Thus, Titanium has played a significant role in numerous surgical procedures in the field of orthopedic, cardiovascular and dental implants (especially Pure Titanium and Ti-6Al 4V alloy).
