As the requirements for materials have become increasingly sophisticated, Titanium and its alloys have been experienced in numerous situations. Scientists from the Los Alamos Laboratory (United States) and Bashkir State University (Russia) have developed Pure Titanium, a suitable element for the manufacture of surgical implants. Pure Titanium has stronger, lighter and more corrosion resistant elements.

 

The development of Pure Titanium occurred through the junction of ECAP processes ("Equal Channel Angular Pressing") and cold extrusion.

 

Sandinox markets the following materials: Pure Titanium F67 Gr 1 (in Titanium Plate or Buchoxyl Plate), Pure Titanium F67 GR 2 (in Titanium Bar grade 2 and Titanium Plate grade 2), Pure Titanium F67 GR 4, in Titanium Bar grade 4 and Titanium Plate grade 4, Titanium Bar 6AI 4V ELI F136, also called Titanium Bar grade 5 and Titanium Plate F136 in Brazil. In addition, Sandinox maintains in its vast stock, wires in Pure Titanium F67, F136, Nitinol F2063, and F138 Stainless Steel.
